Bringing the soul to life is an ideal obligation. For without a living soul, most people will not be able to enter the grave with faith at the time of death.

আত্মা জিন্দা করা আদর্শ ফরজ। কেননা আত্মা জিন্দা ব্যতীত অধিকাংশ মানুষ মৃত্যুর সময় ঈমান নিয়া কবরে যাইতে পারিবে না।

Praying with a present heart is an ideal obligation for everyone. For Allah is One — prostrating to any other than Allah is shirk. Wake up even now. Allah will never forgive this disease of disrespect.

হুজুরি দিলে নামাজ পড়া প্রত্যেকের জন্য আদর্শ ফরজ। কেননা আল্লাহ এক, গায়ের আল্লাহকে সেজদা করলে শিরক হইবে। এখনো হুশ কর। এই রোগ বেয়াদবি আল্লাহ কখনো মাফ করিবেন না।

Taking a Pir is obligatory for everyone. But one must choose a Pir with the utmost care and discernment. For the hand of a deficient pir is the hand of Satan. Whoever places their hand in such a hand — both pir and murid will be bound for Hell.

পীর ধরা সবার জন্য ফরজ। তবে বিয়ের চিনি আর পীর ধরিতে হইবে। কেননা নাকেচ পীরের হাত শয়তানের হাত। লাগেজ পীরের হাত দিলে পীর মুরিদ সহ জাহান্নামী হইবে।

Where were you, where are you now, where will you go again, and what will you take with you — always keep this thought in mind in everything you do.

কোথায় ছিলে, কোথায় আছ, আবার কোথায় যাইবে, সঙ্গে কি নিয়া যাইবে সব সময়ই এই চিন্তা মনে রাখিয়া কাজ করিবে।

If you pursue the work of the tariqa with vigor, the profit is yours; but if you are negligent, the loss is yours. In profit or loss, I have no share.

যদি তরিকতের কাজ জোর দিয়া কর তবে তোমাদেরই লাভ, আর যদি গাফিলতি কর তবে তোমাদেরই লোকসান, লাভ লোকসান আমার কিছু না।

You need not go asking for dua. Do the deeds worthy of dua, and you will receive it sitting at home — your Pir will come and deliver it to your doorstep. Remember: your Pir knows your home.

দোয়া চাহিয়া লইতে হইবে না; দোয়ার কাজ করিও, তবে ঘরে বসিয়াই দোয়া পাইবে, তোমার পির তোমার বাড়িতে দোয়া পৌঁছাইয়া দিয়া আসিবেন, মনে রাখিও, তোমার পীর তোমার বাড়ি চেনে।

Faiz is the backbone of religion. Just as a person cannot live without a backbone, likewise where there is no faiz, religion there becomes lifeless, and no fruit comes from religious deeds.

ধর্মের মেরুদন্ড ফায়েজ, মেরুদন্ড ব্যতীত যেমন মানুষ বাঁচিয়া থাকিতে পারেনা তদ্রুপ যেইখানে ফাইজ নাই ধর্ম সেইখানে নিস্তেজ হইয়া পড়ে ও ধর্মে কর্মে কোন ফল লাভ হয় না।

Faiz is the very root of the tariqa. Where there is no faiz, there is no taste of the tariqa.

তরিকতের মূল ফায়েজ, যেখানে ফায়েজ নাই সেখানে তরিকতের কোন স্বাদ নাই।

My murid children — come and visit me from time to time, for there is benefit in it of faiz and barakah.

আমার মুরিদ সন্তানেরা মাঝে মাঝে আসিয়া দেখা করিও তাহাতে ফায়েজ বরকতের সুবিধা হয়।

Take on the character of your Pir — only then will there be salvation and peace.

পীরের খাছলাতে খাছলাত ধরো তবেই ত্রান (মুক্ত) ও শান্তি।

With every breath, keep your attention submerged within the qalb (heart) — otherwise there is fear of ruin.

প্রত্যেক নিঃশ্বাসে খেয়াল কালবের ভিতর ডুবাইয়া রাখো নচেত হালাক হইবার ভয় আছে।

The Awliya-Allah wept their entire lives before Allah, hands folded together, so that their final breath would depart with Allah's name. How many days have you wept so that you may die with faith?

অলি আল্লাহগন শেষ নিশ্বাস আল্লাহর নামের সঙ্গে বাহির হইবার জন্য জোরহাত করিয়া জীবনভর আল্লাহর হুজুরে কাঁদিতেন, তোমরা ঈমানের সঙ্গে মরিবার জন্য কয়দিন কাঁদিয়াছ?

If after a lifetime of worship you die forgetting Allah in your final breath, all worship will be wasted, and you will enter a sorrowful grave without faith. Do not stay senseless like a drunkard. Wake up — you will never get this priceless life back.

জীবন ভর ইবাদত করিয়া শেষ নিঃশ্বাস আল্লাহকে ভুলিয়া মরিলে যাবতীয় উপাসনা বরবাদ হইয়া যাইবে ও বেইমান হইয়া দুঃখের কবরে যাইবে। মাতালের মত বেহুশ হইয়ো না। হুশ কর, অমূল্য জীবন আর ফিরিয়া পাইবে না।

Love Allah Ta'ala, for Allah loves you all.

আল্লাহ তায়ালাকে মহব্বত কর। কেননা আল্লাহ, তোমাদেরকে ভালোবাসেন।

Eat little during the day, even if you are not fasting. Do not eat out of a greedy stomach, for you are not a four-legged beast.

দিনে কম খাও, যদিও তুমি রোজাদার নও। পোড়া পেটে খাইয়োনা কেননা তুমি চতুষ্পদ জন্ত না।

What is written in one's destiny is what comes to one's mind.

ভাগ্যে আছে যা বুদ্ধিতে আসে তা।

Whoever lives in this world keeping the Hereafter intact is wise; whoever lives in this world forgetting the Hereafter is a fool, an ignorant one.

যে আখেরাত ঠিক রাখিয়া দুনিয়াতে চলে সে বুদ্ধিমান, আর যে আখেরাতকে ভুলিয়া দুনিয়াতে চলে সে আহাম্মক বা নাদান।

If you wish to become a true Muslim, follow all the injunctions and rulings of the Sharia. Then the knowledge of marifat will become easy for you, and faiz and tajalli will keep descending upon you always.

যদি খাঁটি মুসলমান হইতে চাও তবে শরীয়তের যাবতীয় হুকুম আহকাম মানীয়া চলো। তাহলে মারেফাতে এলেম সহজ হইয়া যাইবে। হামেশা ফায়েজ ও তাজাল্লি তোমার উপর ওয়ারেদ হইতে থাকিবে।

Let no one prostrate to any person or any pir — this is Allah's prohibition. If anyone does so by force, he is an offender according to the Sharia.

কেহ কোন ব্যক্তি কিংবা পীরকে সেজদা করিও না। ইহা আল্লাহর নিষেধ। যদি কেহ গায়ের জোরে এইরূপ করে সে শরীয়ত অনুসারে অপরাধী হইবে।

The core pledge — the very principle — of my tariqa: I will not steal, I will not rob, I will not lie, I will not commit zina, I will not take life unjustly, I will not do any unlawful deed. Whoever breaks these pledges is not my murid.

আমার এই তরিকার মূল প্রতিজ্ঞা বা নীতি: চুরি করিবো না, ডাকাতি করিব না, মিথ্যা বলিব না, জেনা করিব না, না-হক খুন করিব না, বেআইনি কাজ করিব না, এই সমস্ত অঙ্গীকার যে ভঙ্গ করিবে সে আমার মুরিদ নহে।

Do not make noise in this darbar, for this is the gathering place of the Awliya-Allah. If anyone shows disrespect, sooner or later his destiny will surely rot.

এই দরবারে শোরগোল করিবেন না। কারণ ইহা অলি আল্লাহদের মজলিসের স্থান, যদি কেহ বেয়াদবি করে, তবে একদিন আগে বা পরে অবশ্যই তকদিরে পোকা ধরিবে।

In my tariqa there is no rule of vocal or loud dhikr. But if, due to an overwhelming descent of faiz, loud dhikr escapes beyond one's control, there is no blame in it.

আমার তরিকায় মৌখিক বা উচ্চ স্বরে জেকের করিবার নিয়ম নাই, তবে অতিরিক্ত ফায়েজ নাযিল হওয়ার দরুন যদি বে-এখতিয়ারে উচ্চস্বরে জিকির হইতে থাকে ওহাতে কোন দোষ নাই।

Hazrat Rasul Pak (peace be upon him) wept his whole life for the ummah, and weeps even today. So you too weep, out of love for Rasul Pak (peace be upon him) — otherwise you cannot become a true believer.

হযরত রাসূল পাক (স:) উম্মতের জন্য সারা জীবন কাদিয়া ছিলেন, আজও কাঁদিতেছেন; তাই রাসূল পাক (স:) এর মহব্বতের জন্য তুমিও কাঁদো। নচেত মোমেন হইতে পারিবে না।

You have come to the Pak Darbar Sharif for worship. Keep the resolve to leave having done pure worship, even without eating — Allah will accept your worship.

তোমরা পাক দরবার শরীফে আসিয়াছো এবাদত করিবার জন্য। তোমরা খানা না খাইয়া খাঁটি ইবাদত করিয়া যাইবার বাসনা রাখো: আল্লাহ তোমাদের ইবাদত কবুল করিবেন।

This sacred gathering is a place for recitation of the Quran Sharif, for dhikr and supplication, for sermons and counsel, and for conveying reward to all the prophets, all the saints, and all the believing men and women across the world. It is therefore a place where the zakirs — those who believe in Allah and in Hazrat Rasul Pak (peace be upon him) — keep their tongues still, with reverence and love. O zakirs and lovers: keep your tongues still and stay absorbed in your own devotion, for you are not of the heedless. Noise here harms the lovers.

এই পবিত্র মজলিস কুরআন শরীফ তেলাওয়াত জেকের আজগার ও ওয়াজ নসিহত করা এবং জামিয়া আম্বিয়া জামিয়া আউলিয়া ও তামাম পৃথিবীর মমিন মোমেনাতের উপর সওয়াব রেছানির জায়গা। তাই আল্লাহ ও হযরত রাসূল পাক (স:) এর উপর বিশ্বাস স্থাপনকারী জাকেরদের আদব ও মহব্বতের সহিত জবান বন্ধ করিয়া রাখিবার স্থান। হে জাকের ও আশেকগণ, তোমরা জবান বন্ধ করিয়া আপন কাজ করিতে থাকো। কারণ তোমরা বেজাকেরের হজ্জতি নহে। এখানে চিল্লাচিল্লি করলে আশেকদের অনিষ্ট হয়।

O Muslims — this priceless life is slipping away like a dream. Wake up. Die with the name of Allah branded deep in your heart. Such branding comes only through the united spiritual focus (tawajjuh) of the perfect guide, a friend of Allah. This grace is the special mercy of Allah Ta'ala.

হে মুসলমানগন অমূল্য জীবন স্বপ্নের মত চলিয়া যাইতেছে। হুশ করেন। আল্লাহর নাম অন্তরের ভিতর দাগ করিয়া মরেন। এই দাগ মোর্শেদে মোকাম্মেল অলি আল্লাহর ইত্তেহাদী তাওয়াজ্জুহ বলেই হয়। এই তাছির খোদাতালার খাস দয়া।
